Marry a girl who drives. She'll take you places. Like NTUC for grocery shopping, or childcare to pick up your kids.

Objectively speaking, cars are not a necessity. However, the sheer convenience they provide, makes them almost absolutely - irresistible.

We got ours for $80,000 (includes COE of $40,000). No loans. We believe that Debt Free = Stress Free.

Yet, like the proverbial leak that sinks great ships, LTA is ever ready to remind you of your yearly dues. Ah well, back to work....

Essentially, $138 per month for the next decade. Unless I get into an accident, making it go up. That's bad.
